Movin' on up...

Like I said in the update of the last post below, the guy cancelled. So, I put another ad up on Craigslist and quickly got another lead. The ad went as follows:

Small move = small price

Need help moving something small, but don't want to pay exorbitant rental
fees? I'm your friend with the truck. Let me help you get it from point A to
point B. Chris: XXX.XXX.XXXX

The lady needs to move everything out of her mother's storage unit. It might take three trips, and it's out there. She wanted an estimate, so I quoted the price from my first ad: $35, but said if it took more than one trip, I'd knock $5 off the price of each successive move. She said it sounded like a "great deal."

Hmm...

I may have done something stupid here. Like the time I bet that Aussie sailor I could drink him under the table. I don't remember what transpired, exactly, but I woke up in Northern Idaho giving a speech at the Aryan Nation's Annual Fundraising Gala and Potluck. And I didn't even have any notes!*

Anyway, I should be able to make a few bucks on this as long as I get a good tailwind.
