Yes, this blog is probably going to die, but maybe it should go out on a high note. Little Joseph Gordon was born on Monday, March 3, at 1:17PM after many, many hours of trying to get out. I made another quick blog here so that distant family and friends can keep track of him and our exploits.
All of the videos there show a sweet little angel, and I'm sure he is. At least, I remember that he was a few days ago. But now the angel has been possessed by Satan, I'm up at 2:30 in the morning learning to steel myself against the panicked shrieks of a little creature who is both hungry and refuses to eat, and wondering if demolishing a door would make it all better...
No, but seriously, he's beautiful. Especially since he's NOW being quiet...

Thanks, all. I think we'll keep him.
Taylor--I'm not sure what I'm doing with REI. I know that NOW is the time to dive in, but I have serious reservations about this area and my ability to compete. If I wasn't so close to the edge of foreclosure and poverty, I might be more bold, but I've more or less achieved a kind of equilibrium, and my two jobs actually have a lot of room for entrepreneurship.
I'll blog about this later, methinks. I've got a lot to do and think about. Real estate isn't the ONLY way to make some money, after all. ;-)
I enjoy your writing, Chris. I think you should keep up with the blog- whichever direction you decide to go. :)
